At Mr U. Arthur's poultry and produce sale to-day. Fowls realised 2s 3d to 3s lid, ducks Is 6d to 2s Id, geese 3s 2d to 3s 6d, good bacon 9d to 9£d, new potatoes l|d. At Messrs Cochrane, auction room to-day, the general houseaold furniture fetched average prices. Lot 48, of the village of Howicb, consisting of one acre of land and cottage thereon, was sold for £41. The cottage and allotment at Glenburn were withdrawn.
