NAPIER.
(From our own correspondent.) This day. Colonel St. John met -with a serious accident this morning, while dismounting from a horse wMch he had been trying. The horse started, and dragged him several times round the Government lawn, the horse kicking furiously all the time. At length he got his foot out of the stirrup, and escaped with severe bruises.
