Mr Alfred 'Buokl*.jo>'s Wkeklt Before.—At the Haymarket. °n Friday, me dium draught stock of a useful class were in larger numbers than usual. They met with a steady enquiry at an advance over late values, and the great number off eied were s old At prices varying from £23 to £32 eacb. Two heavy draught horses weie sold at £64 and £66 respectively. There is an unsatisfied enquiry for good animals of this class. Strong riding horses and those used to light harness were also freely competed for, and and brought from £13 to £23 each. At Remuera on Thursday not many dairy cattle were penned. Store cattle in full supply ; 200 head sold, and pvlces advancd 2s 6d to 5s per head above the prices ruling at Papakura Fat cattle of good quality in full supply ; 140 head sold ; prices lower. Store shaep numerous, and in request. Fat sheep plentiful; those in their wool at last week's piices ; shorn sheep lower id per lb Lambs numerous ; at first lower, but raliied to last week's values as the sale pn ceeped Pigs in short supply, but dull of sale. Prices were—Fat cattle, 22i 6d to 30s the lOMbs ; fat Bheep, in toeir wool, 4£d : shorn, 3d per lb ; lnmbs, 10s to iGs each ; cross-bred sheep, mixed sexes and ages, 93 to 11s each.
