NEW PLYMOUTH.
(Per Pres3 Telegram Agency.) This day. Henry Wright, lats Sergeant of the Armed Constabulary, was brought up yesterday on a charge of embezzlement. Col. Lyon, Major Tuke, and others were called as witnesses. He is charged with appropriating £8 ]9j, being proceeds of a money order given him to collect. He was committed for trial at the next sittings of the Supreme Court, to be held bere on the first of April next, when he will also appear on a charge of forgery.
