This day,
Arrived : Ship Waitara, from London, with 56 passengers, after a voyage of 82 days. All are well. She brings some valuable stock.
The Taranaki searched the coast from the North, and the Ladybird from the South, but saw no signs of the Kaituna, schooner. All hope is gone. Madame Goddarcl goes to Dunedin first, and then plays at Christchurch.
