The brigantine Magellan Cloud arrived on Saturday night from Lyttelton with a cargo of breadstuff's, &c. She left port on the 19th inst., and made a fine run of 60 hours before a S.W. gale to the East Cape. Thence calms and light variable winds into port. Sheia chartered to make her next voyage to the Chatham Islands.

The brig Thomas and Henry arrived from Dunedin yesterday at mid day. She left on the 11th inst., and has had a very unfavorable passage, being driven as far North as the North Cape, which was sighted. She briDgs a cargo of Southern produce consigned to Mr G. W. Binney.

The baTque East Lothian has finished loading railway sleepers, and was to sail from the Kawan for Lyttelton on Saturday. She was leaking very badly, and it was doubted by those who knew her condition whether she was fit to make the voyage.

A brig and a schooner coastwise have been signalled during the day, but owing to the absence of wind neither has yet been able to make the harbour. The brig will probably be the Fawn which sailed from Lyttelton on the 21st inst.

Negotiations are being carried on for the sale of the barque William Gifford to an Auckland firm. The arrangements are at present private.

The barquentine Prince Alfred has nearly finished the unloading of her Lyttelton cargo. She is now taking in another timber cargo for Lyttelton.

The brigantine Flirt is putting out her Southern produce in very good order. - The unloading of the Countess of Kintore has now been entered upon in real earnest. She is turning out her goods in her usual well preserved state.
