THE SHIP DORETTE IN QUARANTINE
This vessel, which arrived yesterday afternoon with a large batch of immigrants, has been placed in quarantine in consequence of scarlet fever having been prevalent among the passengers, It is not expected that there will be any serious detention of the ship, as the eight cases of disease which have occurred have been of the mildest type, and there has been no appearance of the epidemic during the last ten days.
