AKAROA SAILING AND POWER BOAT CLUB
FOURTEEN COMPETING YACHTS THIS SEASON The Akaroa Sailing and Power Boat Club's fleet will be increased by five new boats. These include the "Ponga," Mr G. A. Hammond's Sanders Cup boat, the "Omaha" (W. 11. Jackson), and Marlin (A. Davis). In addition I. Petterson and J. Truman will have boats ; eady for this season's sailing. The following last v year s boats will compete in races:—
"Sea Pup" (G. A. Hammond); "Rascal" (Ron Davis); "Onwego" (C. Iool); "Lady Jane" (F. Firth); "Zephyr" (D. Helps); "Poseidon" (A. Hayward); "Dawn" (T. Hayward); "Ethyl" (Reo) (Rex Davis); "Hoa" (M Wright).
