■LONDON' PRODUCE MARKETS.
The Bank of New Zealand has' received the following advice from their London Office under date 25th September :—
Tallow —There is a fair demand. Current quotations, good mutton, 40s' to 40s 6d per cwt; good beef and mfeed 39s to 39s 6d per cwt.; gut, 34s to 36s 3d per cwt.
The Bank has also received the following' advice as at close of business last week:—
Butter—Quiet but steady. 182s to 134s per cwt.
Cheese —Quiet but steady. White 95s per cwt ; Coloured 94s per cwt.
Frozen iMeat —The market is short of wether mutton. Ewes are firm but there is little business doing'. The market for lambs is steady and no material change is expected yet. Beef is more active owing to shorter supplies from the Argentine.
Wethers, light, 6< J 4d to 6%d per lb heavy d to 6d per lib.
Ewes, 4 to 4 3 4 d' per lb. Lambs, 2's 8d to 8 3 /4 d per lb ; B's, 7 3 / id to B%d per lb; 4's, 7 3 /4 dto 8d per lb; Seconds' THod to 8d : per lb.

LONDON' WOOL SALES
Wool markets' irregular. Compared with' opening prices greasy cross-breds 5 to 10 per cent, lower. New Zealand greasy merinos practically unsaleable.
