The Woman's Guild in connection with the Tiinity Church, Akaroa, held their annual sale of work yesterday, when there was a good attendance. The following were the stall holders :— ProduceJMesdames J. Armstrong Senr. and T. H. Morcom, Cake stall-—Mesdames W. and H. Pool. Work stall—Mesdames Williams and Williamson. Apron Stall)—iMrs Patei'son and Miss E. Keegan. Sweets—iMesdames J. MeiCaw and Naismith. J Tea Stall—Mesdames and Petterson, Misses Fyfe and 1 W. Fyfe. Fish Pond—Busy Bees. COMPETITION'S. Mr Barclay won the crepe de chine nightdress on the work stall for nearest guess to length of string in bottle. Mrs T. Masefield and Master Ash Hammond tied in guess of weight of cake. The total takings were over £34, the bad night spoiling the attendance son*i3what.
