VISITING AKtAtRO'A IN OCTOBER.
■His Worship the 'Mayor, Mr Geo, Armstrong has received the following letter from Commodore' G. Bla'ke : -
"If convenient to y.our Worship I should like to visit Akaroa in H.M.S. Dunedin arriving' on Saturday sth October and' remaining until Wednesday, 9th Octolber, during which period T hop? to have the pleasure of meeting you and the members of your Council. I should be most grateful if you would kindly enquire from the Harbour authorities whether this proposal will also suit them.
