THE PREMIER'S VISIT.
The County Chairman received the following telegram on Monday :—" Mr Seddon writes that he hopes to go over the Peninsula on the 28fch. Will wire soon as matter definitely fixed. Will come via Little River in any case. —George Laurenson."
Yesterday morning, however, our Little River correspondent telephoned that Mr H. D. Buchanan had received a telegram from the Premier, to the effect, that he had determined to pay his visit to the West Coast, before visiting Banks Peninsula, and therefore would not be hero for, at least, another ten days or a fortnight. Arrangements had been made for his reception, etc., but of course everything will remain in statu quo, till definite news of the actual date of his visit is received.
