WEDDING AT FRENCH FARM.

A quiet, but pretty wediing was solem niaed on April 13th. at the residence of the bride's pareate, French Farm, the contncting parties being Mr Lucien Brocberie and Miss Amelia Hunt, youngest daughter of Mr S. Hunt, of French Farm. The Rev. Father Kennedy, of Akaroa, performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a pretty cornflower blue dress, trimmed with white sa' in and blue silk, and she also wore a stylish toque to match, and carried a pretty bouquet. She was attended by two brides maids, Misses Agneß and _nua Brocherie, sisters of Ihe bridegroom. They wore pretty electric blue and fawn dresses, with hats to match, and carried bouquets cf white flowers. Mr 1). Hunt, brother of the bride, acted as best man. The b-ide's present to the bridegroom was a set. of gold sleeve links, while the bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome g >ld bracelet. Many handsome and useful presents, from all parts, were received by the young couple, as an evide; cc of the esteem in which they are held. In the evening a dance was held in the French Farm Schoolroom, which was tastefully decorated for the occasion. About forty couples were present, and a very enjoyable evening was spent.
