THE BOER DELEGATES.

1 he Boer delegates arrived in Christohuroh on Saturday morning, when they wete met by Mr H. A. Turner, Chief Inspector of Stock, Mr H. Overton, and Mr 0- B. Petrireitrn of the Agriculture! and, F& .torsi Association, and drove to Coker's. _ The delegates are Mr Root 5 ; Mr Lane and Mr Jooste, who are accompanied by Mrs.Tooste, Mrs Mtb Kirkpatrick, and Captain Kikpatrick. In lhe af'ernoon they wejn taken to see the Sunnyside Asylum farm, and Mr J B. Feid's thoroughbred hor.es, and were driven home through Feudal ton and Biccartrr. Yesterday the delegates arrived at Little River by the eleven o'click whrre they were m- 1 by Messrs J. D. Bruce and A. Moritzson, and taken to see the cock ; _oot cleaning epetatlons at Messf t Coop Brothors. Tbe proposed programme in connection with their visit to Akaroa was abandoned owing to pressure of time, and thp delegates left Little River for Christ' church early in the day. It is very ttnfor* tuttate that this t<~ur should be abandoned. especially as such complete preparation! had beeu made.
