LONDON MARKETS.
Wool—Good classes sold well, but in medium and inferior sorts many lots were withdrawn. Prices for metinos were unchanged, whilst crossbrede had a little better competition. Representatives of Continental firms bought freely, excepting crossbreds. So far during the present aeries 126,000 bales have been catalogued, and 114,000 sold. The sales closed yesterday. Cheese ia hardening, best New Zealand nelling at 435.
