CRICKET.
A very pltasant matoh between Akaroa and Little Bi*er Clubs conjoined versus Okain's and United Bays took place on Saturday. Okain's and United wore withont the services of Hartley and B. Penlington, ond G. Mason was greatly missed in tbo bowling, whilst tbe other two clubs played without Harrison, Robinson, Bridge, Ferguson, Tini Reynolds (2) and Piitobtti. Aksroa and LitHe River want in firet, and mode 186 for the loeeof eight wickolp, when the innings wan declared cloned, Taylor beinp then in with 16 not out, and Barker and Buchanan not having batted. Of the total scored, Chaplin flontribofcod a splendid 56. Tripe ployed very nicely for 28. whilst Pavitt. Taylor, sod Coop all played good cricket. Oktrin'e and United playing 12 men only made 7S—Bruoe with 18 and G. Maeon with 16 alone neouring double figoroa, Akaroa and Little Eiver tbos winning very eavjiy.
