AKAROA COUNTY RACING CLUB.

A meeting of the Omamittee was held, at Little Biver on 20th Feb., to receive taomioationa and other matters.. Present —Meter* Buobanan (Chairman) R. Latter, G. Maeon, J. F. Buchanan., (jr Robinson, O. Bradley, and B." Nut*. The Secretary reported having applied for permit for totftliestor, tocopted tenders for luncheon booth (Mrs Thomson), appointed Mr Brenkman ac handicapfter for trote in lieu of Mrßanoftn who is unable to act, accepted offer for attendance of ■ band, and arrangad with Hobbe and Goodwin to work to(jali««tor. The action of the Secretary in the form of advertising adopted was approved of. The South Island Trotting Association wrote, recoDMnendiog that a dietaneo post be ueed on the couree. After transacting ether business and receiving nominations, the meeting adjourned.
