LITTLE AKALOA.
On Friday night a very successful entertainment was held iv the Hall, consisting ot songs, tableaux, dances and action songs. The entrance money will be devoted lo the school prize fund. Mrs A. H, Mcintosh and Miss Forsyth deserve great praise for tbe manner in which the several items were got up. The children showed evidence of very careful training. The tableau Woman's franchise, in two scenes, evoked roars of laughter. At the close of the programme Mr At Waghorn, Chairman of the School Committee, thanked the ladies who had promoted and carried out the entertainment so successfully and all who had assisted. The decorations., .surpassed any former attempts at'beautifying the ball. Mdme. Ivens and Miss Waghorn were the pianists. S; ',''" r '■*) J'
