The Session Oommitteee have been set up this afternoon, but the debate on the

proposed Bank Committee has been postponed. When it does come on there will be very keen discussion. There is a feeling that the Committee should be an independent one. and should not contain any members of the old Committee of last session. The Opposition, it is understood,, favor a royal commission instead of a committee, and it is hinted that they will decline to serve on a committee of members of the House. The Women's Rights Bill, proposiug to admit women to any office now held by men, is under discussion. Probably it will succeed in passing the lower House, but will be thrown out in the Legislative Council.
