Judging from the tone of bis letter, Iwould say it was the loss of tbe job to which, if I am right, he was do doabt entitled to. "Veritas Vincit" suggests as en oxpurgatory for tbe Board, that the work bavins to be done to the ealiiif-_ticn o? Mr A. H. Mcintosh, it was deemed advisable to give it that gentleman for completion—-a wonderfully itiopg point scored is it not ? Is this poor imbecile Board co incompetent that it ha. not sufficient genius within it to supervise the erection of a substantial fence, and is obliged to appeal to an exmember to do it, giving bim the work for the services rendered ? Animalia alia rationis expertia sunt alia ratione utuntur. and tbe former are certain members of the above Board, " Veritas Vinoit " also, for the want of something better to say, tells «• Ritepayer " to mind hia own business,
