Mr W. A. Bodkin, M.P., left on Sun day for Wellington.
The news of the death of Mr P. Bleach, a prominent and popular resident of Banfurly, has caused widespread sorrow in Maniototo. We extend our sympathy to the relatives. Mrs Vern Kelliher recently underwent an operation for appendicitis in Dunedin. She is still in Prospect House where she is progressing favourably. Mr and Mrs Harry White arrived back in Alexandra on Thursday of last week. Mr J. Gardner left for Dunedin on Monday and returned last evening. Mr Palmer Wyatt was a passenger by yesterday's express. „ He will be in Dunedin for a few days.
Mr Neil M'Kiunon returned from Dunedin on Monday.
