EARNSCLEUGH HALL.

leugh Hall will be held on Septembei st. Efforts are being made to have he opening ceremony performed by Mr Jas. Horn, M.P., or in his absence owing to the House still sitting, Mr Jas. Ritchie. On the occasion of the opening a bazaar will be held to assist in defraying the expense of erecting the building. In this connection raffles and art unions will be held, stalls will be well provided, and many of the latest attractions, which have been retained from the Exhibition, will be in vogue. It is not known whether Dunedin's Exhibition slogans " only one more player wanted," and " chocolates if you win, every squares' a prize'' will be revived for the % occasion, but certainly thdse who wish to try their luck at this fascinating pastime will be sure to abound the bazaar. Art union tickets which offer substantial prizes aggregating £3O worth of trophies, are now on sale and should meet with ready acceptance. The hall will be completed in time for fhe bazaar, and shortly afterwards an opening ball may be held.'
