MANUHERIKIA RABBIT BOARD.
A meeting of the Board was held last Friday, 3rd March, Mr S. T. Spain in the Vchair. Present: Messrs J. E. Bodkin, !f*t£ Grant, F. Jopson, J. M'Cambridge, -* r l T . J. Spain, B. Tohilland W. B. Manning. The board expressed disappointment at the continued refusal of the Government to connect the stock inspector's office at Clyde with the telephone, the Vant of telephone communication was inconvenient and the secretary was instructed to make fresh representations to the Minister on the matter. Mr J. E. Bodkin was appointed treasurer with Mr B. Tohil! as the other trustee to sign cheques on behalf of the Board. An account to be opened at the * Bank of Sew Zealand. A rate of Id per aere was levied, payment dnc on sth April, 1922. Messrs C. Grant and F. Jopson were appointed to sign the rate book which will then be open for inspection by all ratepayers. The secretary, Mr Reynell, was appointed the Board's iaspector under the Act. Next meeting wiil be held on Friday, 7th April.
