Chatto Cieek team Lad the advantage of having had considerable practice this season, while the local team was one gathered together for the occasion and had had no previous practice. This face considered the local boys did well in running up a total of 70 runs. The local team included two stalwarts of past renown in local cricket circles—David Smith and Eli Churchill, but neither had touched a bat for fully five years. The Alexandia team had first innings. V. Fenwick secured 13 runs and I). Smith 12, the next highest being A. Davidson and B. Thomson with 8 each. Four were l>owled out. live caught out, ono nm out and C Spencei not out. Chatto Creek went into bat after afternoon tea. E. Blair and J. Nas>b were early disposed of. Then followed a very creditable performance by W, Pitches and It. Gleesou, the former putting up a score of 21 liefore being put out for 1.b.w.. and the latter a score of 33 before being run out. Stomps were drawn as arranged about 3 p.m.. *hen Chatto Creek had 7*> and live wickets to go.
