MASONIC HALL.
The ceremony of , the laying of the foundation' stone of the new Masonic Hall was carried out; last Saturday in. due form and-according to tho ancient rights and traditions attaching to such occasions. The ceremonies wero-ilttder the direction of K:W. Bro. A. J- Fhddwiek, of Dunediu. The members of the local Manuherikia Kilwinning Lodge assembled at the Town Hall and marched in procession to the site of the hall. After engaging iu the various exercises appropriate"to the occasion, the stone was laid in position by the EW. Pa'Sl Deputy Grand Master Bro. .Thomas
