Local and visiting fishers will be interested in the placing of 20,000 small fry trout in the Manorburn Creok. These arrived from Quepnstown in fair condition, sent hero on the request of Mr James O'Kane, who has always taken a keen interest in local fishing. Messrs A. Bruce and E. T. Kitto released the young fry well up the creek. Five hundred yearling rainbow trout were roeeutly put into the borough dam. Residents are reminded that worm fishing is now prohibited in the borough dam. The stocking of our j local waters with trout should encourage and attract to the district many infer* esteel in this sport.
