WEEKLY MATCHES THIRD ROUND CONCLUDED The third round of the inter-club weekly table tennis matches, conducted by the Ashburton Table Tennis SubAssociation have been concluded. St. Andrew’s continued its run of successes in the B section of the men’s A grade with another decisive victory, this time at the expense of Technical Old Students, by 33 games to 3. In three matches the St. Andrew’s team have won 96 games and have lost" 12, 9 of these against Railways B in the t first round. Railways B also scored a decisive victory in this section by 32 games to 4 against Flemington. 1 Detailed team scores were: — Women’s Grade—Catholic Club beat Technical Old Students by 24 games to 12; Flemington beat Greenstreet by 25 games to 11. Men’s Grade —A Section: Salvation Army beat Flemington by 19 games to 17; Railways A heat Catholic Club by 29 games to 7. B Section: St. Andrew’s beat Technical Old Students by 33 games to 3; Railways B beat Greenstreet by 32 games to 4. Open Grade —Fairton beat St. Andrew’s by 29 games to 7; Maronan'beat Railways by 21 games to 15; Eiffelton beat Catholic Club by 28 games to 8.
