CHARGE AGAINST BULGARIA

YUGOSLAV BORDER CROSSED EFFORT TO SURROUND SMALL POST CN.Z.P. A.—Copyright) (Rec. 10.25) BELGRADE, June 20. Yugoslavia to-night formally charged Bulgarian troops with iinvading Yugoslavia four nights ago, and with unsuccessfully attempting to surround and capture the Yugoslav frontier post at Roviste, states the Associated Press. Roviste is a crossroads barracks near the border of Greece, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.

Belgrade radio said that the Foreign Affairs Ministry had lodged a protest with the Bulgarian Legation. The protest accused the Bulgarian Government of “trying to camouflage its warmongering (.propaganda against Yugoslavia by representing Yugoslavia as. an aggressor.” It demanded that “the Bulgarian Government immediately take steps to halt border incidents, because it will have,to carry the consequences which might result from this.” Only a few hours earlier the Yugoslav Army spokesman said that Bulgaria had carried out 802 border “provocations” since the Russian-led Cominform denounced Marshal Tito’s Government.
