CHILD INJURED

COX STREET CORNER CRASH When a car and truck collided at the intersection of Cox and Cross Streets about noon yesterday, a three-year-old girl suffered minor injuries, but was able to be taken to her home after treatment as an out-patient at the Ashburton Public Hospital. She was Delia Margaret Hanrahan, daughter of Mr and Mrs T. F. P. Hanrahan, of Creek Road. Mrs Hanrahan was driving the truck and Mrs R. F. Lynn, of Baker Street, the car, when the two vehicles collided. Neither machine was much damaged, and the other occupants escaped injury.
