STRIKE ENDS IN PARIS
TRANSPORT WORKERS RETURN PARIS, March 11. The five-day strike of Paris bus and underground worers collapsed this morning, when the Communist-led General Confederation of Labour ordered its members back. There is no sign of a settlement in other industries. The Communist nowspaer “Ce Soil 1 ” said that the return of the transport workers was an outcome of the “treason” of non-Communist transport workers, who never supported the strike. Bus and underground services were normal to-day. . The employees resumed work on the basis of a monthly wage increase of 5: per cent, or a minimum of 225. Gd.
