REPORT DENIED
HUNGARIAN SKATING STAR (Rec. iIO.O a.m.) LONDON, Mar. 12. The Hungarian skating team manager denied that the Hungarian skating star, Ede Kiraly, had sought political refuge in Britain. “He asked for and obtained Home Office permission to remain in England four weeks longer to continue training and then return to Hungary. We are all members of the Communist Party,” the manager said.
An earlier report said it was understood that Kiraly had told British officials that lie feared to return to Hungary because* he refused to join the Hungarian Communist Party.—Reuter.
