HOLIDAY VISIT
MR JORDAN COMING TO N.Z. LONDON, March 9." The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr W. J. Jordan) will sail for New Zealand on April 1 in the Ceramic. “I shall confer with the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) and the Minister of External Affairs (Mr F. W. Doidge) on general and diplomatic matters,” he said. .. “I want to get back in good time in View of the large number of New Zealanders who will be visiting London this summer,” he added. This will be Mr Jordan’s second visit to the Dominion since his appointment as High Commissioner 14 years ago. His first was in 1945.^ Among the passengers in the Ceramic will be the British Rugby* footbal team. Mr Jordan’s return to New Zealand h;js no significance other than as a holiday visit and as an opportunity for discussion on general matters of external affairs, said Mr Doidge.
