MAYFIELD NATIONAL PARTY
WOMEN ELECT OFFICERS l - The annual meeting of the May-field-Women’s branch of the National Party, was held in the Lodge Room, when the president (Mrs W. M. Turner) presided over a good attendance. A letter of thanks was directed to be sent to Mr R. Oakley, who had audited the books since the inception of the branch. The guest .speaker was Mrs StoneWigg, of Winchester, and sprays were presented to the president and speaker by Mrs G. J. Murdoch. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mrs W. M. Turner; vicepresident, Mesdames T. Taylor and G. J. Murdoch; secretary-treasurer, Miss [. McCormick; committee, Mesdames G. B. Murdoch, J. McCormick, J. King, L. Doyle, J. Jacob, J. King; auditor, Mr J. T. A. Harris; delegates to electoral annual meeting, president, secretary and Mesdames’ Taylor, G. J. Murdoch and J. Jacob. ' The hostesses were Mesdames J. King and T. Taylor.
