DERAILMENT OF EXPRESS
SABOTAGE THE CAUSE (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) NEW’ DELHI, Mar. 5. It is officially announced that sabotage caused the derailment of the Madras-Calcutta mail train about 50 miles from Madras on Saturday, killing seven people and injuring' 95. Security officials said they believed that Communists were responsible, and that derailment was part of their plan to disrupt the country’s economy. The police recently discovered secret instructions to Communist cadres ordering sabotage and wrecking wherever possible. All railway lines in Madras State are now being patrolled, and armed police pickets are guarding lines in the Madras city area.
