CZECH OFFICIALS SENTENCED
GAOL FOR ACCEPTING BRIBES
LONDON, Oct. 24.
Two important Communists have each been sentenced to eight years’ Imprisonment for having accepted bribes from a black-market dealer, says the Czech official news agency quoted by the Prague correspondent of the United Press. The two men are Dr. Sklenar, chief, of the housing section of the Central National Committee of Prague* and Tosef Pokorny, chief of the committee’s security section. The news agency said that Sklenar had .helped the dealer to get control of a nationalised business. Pokorny had hushed up the matter.
