WOMEN’S DIVISION
SEAFIELD BRANCH to J Mrs R. J. Martin gave a. full _ a,nd interesting report on the Dominion conference at the monthly meeting of the Seafield branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. Donations were passed to be sent to the Mid-Canterbury Executive and the Crippled Children’s Society. A collection of magazines was given in to be sent- to Mrs T. Gould, England. Arrangements were made to hold the spring flower show late in September. Mi’s J. Gregory was welcomed back to the meetings after an absence of some, months through illness. Members reported on tlie Greenstreet and Ashburton branch birthday parties which they attended recently. A collection of biscuits was made by members and given to Malvern Hospital. 4 Competitions resulted: —Sack apron, Mrs S. Wham 1, Miss M. Robertson 2, Mrs L. Robertson 3; three varieties biscuits, Mrs »S. Wham 1, Mrs- R. Grice 2, ‘Miss M. Robertson 3. The hostesses- were MesdameS R. Grice and J. Girvan.
