PUBLIC NOTICES ASHBURTON ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. SPECIAL LOAN NO. 9, £60,000. 'M'OTICE is hereby given that at its . meeting on 15th, August, 1949, the Ashburton Electric Power Board resolved to raise by Special Order, under Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1936, a loan of Sixty Thousand pounds (£60,000) for a term of twenty (20) years with interest not exceeding three pounds five shillings (£3/5/-) per centum per annum and Sinking Fund shall be at the rate of not less than three pounds fourteen shillings and fivepence (£3/14/5) per centum per annum for the purpose of providing further reticulation within the Board’s district. The proposed loan will be secured by a rate of three-thirtyseconds of a penny in the pound on the capital value of the rateable property in the district. The Board proposes to confirm the above-mentioned resolution at its meeting to be held in the Offices in Ashburton on MONDAY, the 19th day of SEPTEMBER/ 1949, at 10.30 a.m. Copies of the resolution may be inspected at the Offices of the Board, the Ashburton County Council, Ashburton Borough Council and Tinwald Town Board.
