ASHBURTON PLAY SATURDAY’S RESULTS Only one senior A basketball game was played at Ashburton on Saturday, High School defeating Methven by 21 points to 17. The school team are thus in an unassailable position, though there are still matches to bo played in this grade.
The seven-a-side Yankee tournament in the other three grades was finished, winners being:—Senior B, Hampstead, runners-up, High 0.G.; junior A, Convent, runners-up, High School; junior B, High School I, runners-up, Hinds.
