COALITION URGED
WEST GERMAN PARTIES (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. 18. During a one-hour secret conference between Dr. Konrad Adenauer, the Christian Democratic leader, who is generally expected lo be West Germany’s first, Chancellor and Dr. Kark Arnold, the, Christian Democrat Min-ister-President of North Rhine Westphalia, it was decided lo ask Ihe Social Democrats to join a. coalition Government, says the British United Press Bonn correspondent. Dr. Arnold and other prominent members of the parly are reported to have urged coalition with the Socialists.
