MORE TAKAHES FOUND
SEVERAL FILMS TAKEN (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, .Tan. 12. More takahos have been found in the Lake Te Anau area by a party of 10 headed by Dr. R. A. Falla, Director of the Dominion Museum, and directed by Dr. G. B. Orhell. of Invercargill, who made the previous discovery some weeks ago. The expedition had little difficulty in finding the haunls of the bird (Notornis hochsetteri) above the bushline and in the snowgrass. Several 111 ms were taken. An official report will he issued after Dr. Falla, lias reported to the Internal Affairs Department and in Ihe meantime no further information is available. Dr. Falla is still in the back country.
