GUERILLAS IN GREECE
BATTLE WITH REGULAR TROOPS (Rec. 12.40 p.m.) ATHENS, Jan. 12. The general .staff announced that 2000 guerillas, with heavy artillery and mortars, last night joined ill battle with units of the regular Greek Army outside the Macedonian town of Nauossa. The town is surrounded and battles are raging .on a perimeter of about three-quarters of a mile from the centre. Government reinforcements are being rushed to the scene. Nauossa controls the route from Salonika to Fiorina.
