PROGRAMME DRAWN UP A meeting of the Ashburton Amateur Cycling Club was held in the Toe I-I rooms last evening. A programme for the remainder of the season was drafted. The Mrs Jas. Cague Cup race to Methven is to bo held on January 22 on sealed handicaps. There are to be road races of various distances fortnightly until the last Saturday in March, when the club will hold its block championship. All the block, races will be held on the Allenton School course.
It was also decided to give E. D. and I. L. Cague a send-off to-day, as they are leaving the district for Nelson. They have been strong supporters Af the club and have been successful in many races.
