MATINEE MEETING
NEWS OF THE TURF
HANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY Handicaps for the matinee meeting to be conducted by the Ashburton Trotting Club on Saturday were declared last evening. Large fields are carded, and, with all the attractions«of a, gymkhana as well, the' fixture should attract a very large attendance.
The proceeds are to lie divided between the Ashburton Returned Services Association building fund and the fund for the Tinwald War Memorial Hall.
