'V'OTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting oi! the Ashburton Borough Council held on Monday, 22nd March, 1948, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted for confi-rmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on TUESDAY, 27th APRIL, 1948, at 5 p.m., in the Municipal Chambers, Havelock Street, Ashburton: That the Ashburton Borough Council raise the sum of £2500 for the purpose of erecting a Curator’s Residence in the Ashburton Domain. That th© term of the loan be for 25 years and the rate of interest payable not to exceed three pounds five shillings (£3/5/-) per centum per annum. That a Security Rate to cover interest and other charges be a Special Rate of one farthing (Id) in the £. A copy of the above Special Order is deposited at the Town Clerk’s Office, Municipal Chambers, and is available for inspection by the public during office hours. Dated this 24th day of March, 1948.
