American-bred Starwyn. Both races wore worth £2500. SYDNEY YEARLING SALES RECORD AGGREGATE PAYMENT SYDNEY, March 30. A record aggregate of more than£loo,ooo was paid for 154 lots at the Sydney yearlings sales which opened to-day, Top price of 4500 guineas was paid for a brown colt by Le Grand Due from Heiress. The colt is a brother to Bronya, a winner in New Zealand. Of the total offering of 108 yearlings, 28 realised 1000 guineas, or more. The average price for the sale was 623 guineas.
