ATOMIC CONTROL
Complete Deadend Reached (Rec. 11.15) NEW YORK, March 30. The United Nations Atomic Control Committee, which had the task of drawing up a blueprint for the World Atomic Control Board, to-day reached a complete deadend in the work. . One member after another said there was no point in discussing the proposed international body in view • of the Soviet’s adamant stand on basic issues. General McNaughton (Canada) said there Avas no purpose in pursuing the matter further until the majority showed some sign of accepting the minority view. Professor Dmitri Skobeltsyn (Soviet) said the blame for the committee’s failure lay Avith the majority, AAdiicn had folloAved the United states’ vieAVS. The committee adjourned 1 without setting a date for another meeting.
