Tsaldaris, telegraphed Mr Trygve Lie, Secretary-general of the United Naions, and Unesco, protesting against guerillas kidnapping Greek children and transferring them to Communist Balkan countries.

Belgrade, Sofia, Bucharest, and Budapest and Tirana radios had been admitting the arrival of Greek children. Copies of M. Tsaldaris’s telegram have been handed to the British, United States and French Ambassadors.
