CORFU CHANNEL DISPUTE
ALBANIAN SUBMISSION REJECTED THE HAGUE, March 26. The International Court of Justice, giving its first judgment in the Corfu Channel dispute between Albania and Britain, rejected Albania’s preliminary objection that Britain’s action m approaching the Court without a previous agreement with Albania was inadmissible. ■ „ Britain is seeking compensation for the mining of two destroyers in the Corfu Channel in 1946, with the loss of 44 lives.
