ALLENTON CLUB FIRST MEETING AND PRACTICE There was a large attendance at the first meeting and practice of the Allenton Football Club, held in the Allenton School on Wednesday night. The meeting unanimously recommended the delegates to the Rugby Union to support the nomination of three selectors for the representative teams. It was decided to present a medal each year to the most improved Rugby player at the Allenton School, the headmaster to select the player. The secretary was instructed to write to the Temuka Club asking for a match on April 3 or 10. Application is to be made for an extra light at the training ground. The resignation from the committee of. Mr J. Bryant,'who has joined the referees’ committee, was accepted with regret.
