TALK OVER OLD TIMES
NOTED ATHLETES MEET (Rec. 12.35) NEW YORK, Mar. 24. Dr. Jack Lovelock, of New Zealand, Glen Cunningham, of the United States and Luigi Beccali, of Italy, who were placed in that order in the 1500 metres at the* Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, came face to face to-day with Gil Dodds, the galloping parson and American chief hope in tlie same distance at this year’s games. They had a long chat over old times and future prospects at a luncheon held to publicise the film, 1936 Olympics. Dr. Lovelock is at present specialising in the treatment of athletic injuries as a member of the staff of a New York hospital.
